YEREVAN.- Every proposal of the opposition will be taken into account, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said in the parliament during discussion on government’s program for 2012-2017.

Sarsyan said they had listened to all the arguments, including those voiced by the opposition.

“I am confident such debates, this style of work will contribute to development of our country. I assure you the government comprised of the representatives of the Republican Party of Armenia and Orinats Yerkir realized the existing challenges and acknowledges methods possible for solution of the existing problems. By voting for this program, we secured stable development for our country,” he said addressing the MPs.

He said the government is ready for constructive discussion, exchange of opinions. At the same time Premier called on the opposition political forces to avoid “unhealthy” counter-arguments and personal accusations.

Tigran Sargsyan said the government did it utmost to mitigate the consequences of the global crisis making budget deficit 7.7% of GDP in 2008.  

“We are not trying to hand over responsibility for our mistakes. We are ready to work more to offer the best solutions for the benefit of the Republic,” he concluded.
