The Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II will arrive on a visit to Ukraine on Saturday to meet with country’s leadership and representatives of the Armenian community.

The visit is important in terms of future strengthening of the Armenian-Ukrainian relations, chairman of Ukrainian Armenians’ Union Vilen Shatvoryan said.

He noted that the Union pays much attention to preservation of Armenian cultural heritage, Analitika.at.ua reported.

“We do not have the right to lose historic heritage,” he emphasized.
