YEREVAN. – The members of the “We will not Pay 150 Drams” initiative are marching to the Police building to free their friends who had been previously detained by law enforcers (photos).
Activists claim 8-10 protestors have been detained since Tuesday morning. The activists pledge not to approach the building, in case their friends are set free. Yerevan Deputy Police Chief Valeri Osipyan is in the building.
The demonstrators said MPs Nikol Pashinyan and Zaruhi Postanjyan are in the building, too.
The members of the “We will not Pay 150 Drams” initiative gathered Tuesday morning nearby the Armenian capital city Yerevan Municipality to struggle against rise in transport fares.
