The Czech Parliament Foreign Relations Committee unanimously adopted a resolution on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on Tuesday.

The resolution is based on the Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, adopted by the UN General Assembly on 9 December 1948, as well as the decisions of international organizations and legislative and executive authorities of the countries, which have recognized the Armenian Genocide. The document condemns the denial of genocides and calls on the international community to prevent crimes against humanity in any corner of the world, as well as normalize disputes in a peaceful manner.
