The Russian FM Sergey Lavrov and his French counterpart have agreed to unite the efforts of the two countries to normalize the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, Russian MFA press-service reports.

During the phone conversation, the sides discussed the recent developments in Nagorno-Karabakh and decided “to unite the efforts of the two countries as Minsk Group Co-Chairs for the fast normalization of the situation in the conflict zone.”

The FMs also discussed ways of activating work in Normandy Format, as well as prospects for crisis normalization in Syria and Libya.
