Associate Professor of the Holocaust & Genocide Studies of the New Jersey Stockton University Elisa von Joeden-Forgey believes that the end of a genocide is always the potential beginning of another one.

The flow of refugees is an integral part of the strategy of genocide, she said during the Second Global Forum Against the Crime of Genocide in Yerevan on April 23.

Elisa von Joeden-Forgey   emphasized that the Christian communities are subjected to  genocide in the Middle East.

The American professor mentioned that they need to think wider and  to engage participants from different sectors of society in the fight against genocide. A broader perspective on the prevention of genocide in the search for peace in the absence of walls is needed.
