STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces around 20 times, from late Wednesday night to early Thursday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 200 shots toward the Armenian position-holders, and by way of various caliber weapons, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In addition, the adversary made use of automatic and rocket-propelled grenade launchers, in a northeasterly direction of the line of contact.

But the NKR Defense Army vanguard units took actions in response to quell this aggressive activity by the Azerbaijani armed forces, and continued confidently carrying out their military service.
