YEREVAN. – Secretary of the National Assembly of Armenia Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Party Faction, Aghvan Vardanyan, has been appointed the ARF campaign headquarters chief, for the forthcoming parliamentary election season. 

Vardanyan on Friday confirmed this information, speaking to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

And when asked whether the ARF may respond to and discuss opposition Prosperous Armenia Party former leader—and businessman MP—Gagik Tsarukyan’s open offer for running in the election with a broad alliance, Aghvan Vardanyan recalled that there is a 99-percent chance that the ARF will run in the upcoming election on its own, and that it has not discussed this matter.
