STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces 50 times, from late Saturday night to early Sunday morning.
During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired over 900 shots toward the Armenian position-holders, and with different-caliber shooting weapons, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
In addition, the adversary fired four shells from a grenade launcher, in a northerly direction of the line of contact.
But the NKR Defense Army vanguard units continued confidently carrying out their military watch, and they took actions in response when absolutely necessary.
