YEREVAN. - The march held in Yerevan on Wednesday in memory of the victims of the tragic events of 1 March 2008 has ended.

The event–organized by the Armenian National Congress (ANC) and the People's Party of Armenia (PPA)–ended near Myasnikyan's monument.

The march participants walked across the central Mashtots Avenue of the capital, holding the republic's flags and a large banner with the requirement to reveal all the circumstances of the occurrence. They also laid flowers at Myasnikyan's monuments in memory of the victims.

The march was accompanied by policemen, who held carnations in their hands. ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan didn't take part in the march.
