YEREVAN. – The “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency of Armenia recorded a magnitude-3.5 earthquake in Georgia, on Friday at 5:24am local time.
The epicenter of this tremor was 35 km northeast of Akhalkalaki town in the densely Armenian-populated Samtskhe-Javakheti Region of Georgia.
The hypocenter of the quake was 5 km beneath the surface.
This seismic activity measured magnitude 5, at the epicenter.
