Russia-based Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan has purchased Hrazdan Thermal Power Plant of Armenia.
The Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia on Wednesday convened a meeting. Among other matters, the agenda of this event included the question of giving permission for the sale of the 100-percent shares of Hrazdan Energy Company (RazTES), according to the PSRC website.
And based on the Energy Law of Armenia, the commission decided to permit the sale of the RazTES shares to Tashir Capital Closed Joint-Stock Company, which belongs to Russia-based Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan.
