Street racer Mara Bagdasaryan on Wednesday complained to Russian President Vladimir Putin about the court and bailiffs, her attorney, David Kemularia, told RIA Novosti.

''We filed a complaint regarding the actions of the judge and bailiffs. We are threatened and told that Mara will in any case be arrested,'' the attorney said.

He also noted that directly from the President's reception his client left for the compulsory community service, which she was sentenced to for the failure to pay fines. The attorney has not yet turned to other law enforcement bodies with respect to the threats, since he ''counts on the president.'' In his words, the reply to Baghdasaryan's request should be received in a week.

On Monday, the bailiffs again detained Baghdasaryan, this time for leaving the compulsory community service without leave. They drew up an administrative protocol pursuant to which she may face 15 hours of arrest.
