YEREVAN.- The offer to freeze  Armenia’s EAEU membership is an artificial agenda, Spokesperson for the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Eduard Sharmazanov, told reports after the RPA Executive Body session Wednesday, commenting on the initiative of the Yelk (Way Out) Bloc.

Sharmazanov noted that the country has a multi-party system, and accordingly each political force has its own approaches and opinions that may not coincide with the opinion of the majority. Nevertheless, the vice speaker emphasized that the issue of termination of membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is an artificial agenda.

“One thing is clear - Armenia must continue membership in the EAEU, because it follows from our interests, "Sharmazanov said.
