Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif have conducted telephone discussion over current international issues.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Lavrov and Zarif discussed the progress in the preparation of the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea at the forthcoming Fifth Caspian Summit.
The sides expressed views over current international issues, particularly over the Syrian settlement in the context of Syrian Congress of National Dialogue in Sochi, as well as the situation over Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program.
