Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan criticized Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov who suggested Ankara should yield the control of Afrin to Damascus, RIA Novosti reported.
According to Turkish President, Lavrov's approach is incorrect.
“We know better than anyone to which side Afrin should be transferred. When the time comes, we will give Afrin to its residents," Erdogan told reporters.
