Russian President Vladimir Putin and Acting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan agreed on Thursday to step up gas talks, said spokesperson for Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, yesterday the sides agreed to intensify talks on gas issues, RIA Novosti reported.

“Until yesterday we could not state active talks between Gazprom and our Armenian colleagues,” he added.

Speaking about the talks timing, the press secretary said “we are under time-pressure.”
