UK will allocate 18 million pounds for the fight against disinformation and fake news in the Eastern Europe as well strengthening of independent media in Western Balkans, DW reported.
The funds will be allocated to Conflict, Stability and Security Fund during three years.
Overall, UK plans to allocate 100 million pounds to support independent media in Easter Europe and Central Asia.
