Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has referred to the adoption by the US House of Representatives of a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide.

“Thank you US, US Congress. Justice & truth consolidated w/ historic HR Res 296. Tribute to memory of victims of Armenian Genocide. Massive message agnst denialism. Deep gratitude to each of 405 votes. Empowered to work anew for prevention of mass atrocities anywhere in the world,” he wrote in his Twitter microblog.
