YEREVAN. – Armenia's amorphous policy is beneficial to the Azerbaijani fake propaganda. Larisa Alaverdyan, the First Ombudsperson of Armenia, stated this at the request of Armenian News-NEWS.am, and commenting on Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s statements.

"As long as Armenia remains so passive, absolutely all events that fully prove that Azerbaijan has consistently committed a direct genocide act, from Sumgait to the present day, will continue," Alaverdyan said. "Aliyev's statements should be viewed in the context of absolute passivity of the Armenian side."

The First Ombudsperson of Armenia emphasized that this strategy has been worked out by Turkey ever since 1915 and is being implemented. "It is necessary to realize that genocide denial is the planning and implementation of new acts of genocide," she said. "Azerbaijan is in fact continuing Turkey's strategy and tactics for over a hundred years. Moreover, by not meeting any adequate resistance and active policy from Armenia, this will be repeated, and this is only the beginning.

“Active work—whether based on falsehood, fiction or myths—is always spread, wins, at least in the short historical distance of 50-100 years. But it can be crucial for the people of the whole South Caucasus."

Larisa Alaverdyan added that in the last 1.5 years, amorphous policy and amorphous expressions can only be beneficial to Azerbaijani fake, but quite regular, propaganda.
