Former beauty queen Amaani Noor has been jailed for transferring £35 to Syrian Islamic militants, Independent reported.
"Amaani Noor “married” a man she had never met over the internet and was planning to join him when she was arrested," the source noted.
Noor was jailed for 18 months on Friday, while co-defendant Victoria Webster was sentenced to 17 months for encouraging her and funding terrorism.
Her co-defendant Victoria Webster received 17 months in prison. The police said that both women expressed extremist views and expressed support for the ISIS the Islamic group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.
