YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: [PM] Nikol Pashinyan made such a note yesterday: "The [majority] My Step faction demonstrated a master class in parliamentarism in the NA [National Assembly]." We are talking about the scenario of reaching a decision on to hold [constitutional] referendum on the matter of getting rid of the 7 CC [Constitutional Court] and the course of the session in general.

In fact, not only analysts, but also social media users disagreed, to put it mildly, with this assessment. One of the political scientists even mentioned in our conversation: “Yes, it was really a master class; but on how not to deal with the Constitution and laws and how not to deal with politics."

Our interlocutor also noted that the decision of yesterday still does not mean that there will be a referendum.

There is time, there are procedures ... In his opinion, it is not excluded that this was just a final step to pressure the CC judges, as the previous ones failed.

This is also evidenced by the fact that the Prime Minister in his speech called on the judges to go on early retirement before ratification by the President.

On the other hand, there is a sharp reaction from international organizations, which is likely to still have a continuation.

Moreover, no matter how the authorities claim that everything went smoothly, according to our information, during the February 5 meeting of the NA [National Assembly] Speaker with the ambassadors of the OSCE and CoE member states, the discussion and the reaction of the ambassadors were very heated.
