The criminal case against Spartak Ghukasyan, the son of opposition Prosperous Armenia faction MP and former Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghukasyan, has been dropped, and the criminal proceedings against him have been terminated. The General Department of Military Investigation of the Investigative Committee of Armenia informed this to Hetq, in response to a written query.

Spartak Ghukasyan was charged with unlawful exemption from compulsory military service.

The criminal case brought against him was dropped on the grounds of the absence of corpus delicti.
