YEREVAN. – You know that the Prime Minister was in the parliament during the previous four-day sittings; we all were sitting there with masks, and I don't think there should be a problem. Lilit Makunts, the head of the majority My Step faction in Armenia’s legislature, stated this Monday during a briefing with journalists in the National Assembly. Also, she wished health to PM Nikol Pashinyan and his family, as well as to the people who are currently overcoming the obstacles related to the coronavirus.

"As for the testing of the MPs in the National Assembly, we all wear masks. [But] if the Ministry of Health finds that we have to take tests, then we will take [them],” she added, in particular.

"When the Prime Minister announced that the test had been positive, all the necessary actions will be taken after that," Makunts also said.

"[But] we will do our best not to disrupt our work in any way,” she concluded.

As reported earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that he and his family members have tested positive for COVID-19.
