Domestic political conditions should not affect the relations, the Russian ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin told a briefing on Thursday.

According to him, the high level of relations between the two countries should not undergo changes regardless of certain processes or persons. 

“The fact that the Russian topic is present in the domestic political discussion in Armenia is understandable, given the importance of our relations. A high level of relationships needs to be maintained. The position of the Armenian leadership shows that Armenia is also committed to this,” he added.
