Yerevan police have arrested a person suspected of murder.

The judge of the Yerevan court of general jurisdiction granted the petition to the investigation team on the approval of a preventive measure in the form of arrest against Arthur Madoyan.

A forensic medical examination revealed six gunshot wounds on the body of the victim.

As reported earlier, a murder was committed in Yerevan on June 7 using the firearms. A dead body of the 38-year-old resident was found by the police at the scene. According to the preliminary conclusion of the medical examiner, the victim died of bullet wounds.

A criminal case has been launched on the fact of the incident.
