Tehran may retaliate in the event of non-constructive decisions by the IAEA toward country, TASS reported referring to the MFA spokesperson Abbas Mousavi.

If the IAEA makes unconstructive decisions regarding Iran, Tehran will likely respond to this, he said.

According to Mousavi, despite good cooperation between Iran and the agency, the IAEA makes politically motivated statements that are clearly hostile to the people and the Iranian government, as well as to the international system.

He added that Tehran’s cooperation with the IAEA continues even after Iran reduces its obligations within the nuclear deal

According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), Iran’s enriched uranium reserves nearly eight times the limit allowed by the 2015 nuclear deal. The agency also expressed deep concern with the fact that Iran still does not allow experts to enter two facilities where unclaimed nuclear materials may be located.

As Reuters noted, the report calls on Iran to immediately begin to fully cooperate with the IAEA, including providing access to these facilities.
