STEPANAKERT. – Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Haroutyunyan on Friday visited the Tigranakert military training facility of the Defense Army and followed the shooting phase of the tactical exercises various military units. This was reported by the Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh President.

Accompanied by Defense Minister Jalal Harutyunyan, the President also got acquainted with the target facilities used at the Defense Army, and the recently complemented communication and video surveillance means, as well as their technical capabilities.

During the visit, the President also followed the demonstration training of the Defense Army special forces.

Subsequently, Haroutyunyan stressed that the results of these training exercises show once again that the Armenian armed forces are the real deterrent to the aggressive behavior of the military and political leadership of the adversary.

Onik Gasparyan, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, and some other officials were also present at this military training exercise.
