China undermines the autonomy of Hong Kong, said NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.
His remarks came commenting on China’s security law for Hong Kong, Reuters reported.
“It is clear that China does not share our values - democracy, freedom, and the rule of law,” Stoltenberg said. “We see this in Hong Kong, where the new security law undermines its autonomy,” he said.
The EU has also warned of serious consequences for Beijing over this law, without giving details.
