Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin hopes a vaccine against COVID-19 is ready in Russia in the fall, TASS reports.

“Currently, all Russian research centers are working hard to create the vaccine. According to Rospotrebnadzor, as of today, four vaccines are proven to be safe, and the clinical experiments for two vacccines are in the final stage,” Mishustin said as he presented the report on the activities of the Russian government in the State Duma today.

“The most difficult thing is to prepare production platforms to be convinced that the vaccines are safe, and I hope we have a reliable Russian vaccine against the coronavirus in the fall,” he added.
