The Armenian opposition’s car parade demanding the resignation of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan ended at Republic Square in Yerevan.

Police apprehended member of the opposition Homeland Party Babken Harutyunyan after the car parade.

“These authorities are in agony, if they think that we’re not afraid of getting arrested and paying the fines set by road police officers,” leader of the youth organization of the Republican Party of Armenia Hayk Mamijanyan told reporters, adding that road inspectors had stopped nearly 10 drivers in various districts of Yerevan for different reasons in order to not let them participate in the car parade today.
