YEREVAN. – Police continue to apprehend citizens from the area adjacent to the third building of the government of Armenia.

In particular, they attempted to apprehend Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a representative of the Armenia Supreme Body of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation-ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party and coordinator of the Homeland Salvation Movement—which demands the resignation Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, but he managed to escape from the police and leave the area of the protest.

The police, however, pursued Saghatelyan and tried to apprehend him once again.

Blood was running from his face.

Eventually, he was not apprehended.

To note, police have apprehended 25 people—demanding Pashinyan’s resignation—nearby the government buildings.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, a large number of police forces have been concentrated in front of the government buildings since Tuesday morning, as the aforesaid opposition movement had announced Monday that they would hold a protest outside the third building of the government because PM Nikol Pashinyan was to come to that building.
