YEREVAN. – Four Armenian women are believed to be in Azerbaijani captivity. Opposition Prosperous Armenia Party MP Naira Zohrabyan told this to reporters on Friday.
"According to our information, while handing over the territories of Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] [to Azerbaijan], they refused to leave their homes and were captured," she stressed.
Zohrabyan added that she had met with representatives of the Russian elite in Moscow, and passed the lists to various instances in Russia. "We are trying to do our best with the Russian side to return both them and the prisoners of war from Shirak Province [of Armenia]. As soon as there is a positive result, I will inform immediately," the MP said.
