YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: The deadline for parties and party blocs to submit to the CEC [(Central Electoral Commission)] the documents required to register for running in the June 20 [snap parliamentary] elections ends in a day.

The political forces have decided not to open the brackets until the last moment. At the moment, the electoral lists are undergoing the last edits.

According to some information, the [electoral] list of the authorities has changed considerably; it does not look like it did about a month ago. New names have appeared, which are not members of the [ruling] Civil Contract [Party], are mainly economists, business representatives.

It is true that the reproduction of [the ruling] My Step [bloc] is becoming more difficult day by day, but [acting PM Nikol] Pashinyan is busy distributing future portfolios these days. Before compiling the [electoral] list, he was calling the My Step MPs to him one by one, asking [them] who sees him where, making it understood that they will not stay outside, even if they are not included in the [ruling party’s electoral] list.
