“Armenia” bloc and Nikol Pashinyan (acting Prime Minister representing Civil Contract Party) are considered the favorites among voters during the snap parliamentary elections in Armenia, based on the phone survey conducted by the sociological service of RIA Novosti.

The survey was conducted between June 6 and 14 and showed the preferences of residents of Armenia ahead of the elections. There were 992 participants, the sample comprised residents according to place of residence, gender and age. The statistical error doesn’t exceed 3.2%.

The study shows that “Armenia” bloc—formed around second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan— is a favorite among voters (32% of voters are ready to cast their votes favor of the bloc). Based on the survey, 24% of participants of the survey are ready to cast their votes in favor of Pashinyan’s Civil Contract Party.

Prosperous Armenia Party garners 4%, while “I Have the Honor” bloc and Bright Armenia Party each garner 2% of votes. Out of the participants, 10% said they won’t participate in the elections, and another 10% said they couldn’t give an answer. The remaining 16% offered their versions for the vote.
