Zhoghovurd daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: The prosecutor of Azerbaijan is making accusations, with consistent efforts, against the military-political leadership of the Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] Republic, investigating and detaining [them]. 

And what steps is RA Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan taking to return to Armenia the three [former] presidents of Artsakh—Bako Sahakyan, Arkady Ghukasyan, Arayik Harutyunyan—Artsakh [former] Minister of State Ruben Vardanyan, former Deputy Commander of the DA [(Defense Army)] Davit Manukyan, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh David Babayan, arrested and detained by Azerbaijan?

In response to this inquiry of Zhoghovurd daily, the RA Prosecutor General’s Office reported: "The protection of the rights of individuals has always been in the center of attention of the RA prosecutor's office. In this regard, the RA Prosecutor General’s Office uses the tools provided by the law in order to protect and restore the rights of individuals."

As for what tools exactly Anna Vardapetyan uses, the prosecutor's office did not elaborate, noting that the matter is in the center of their attention.

Judging by the situation, at the prosecutor's office also, like the RA citizens, they are following like an audience how the Azerbaijanis detain our compatriots one by one. We have no information about torture yet.
