The stock restitution commission of the Prosecutor General's Office of Kazakhstan has turned 40 billion tenge (more than $90 million) seized from the country’s oligarchs into additional state revenues.

The commission approved the agreements on the voluntary return of illegally acquired shares amounting to 40 billion tenge to the state.

"The returned funds will be used for social purposes, including the elimination of the consequences of floods," informed the press service of the Kazakh government.

In addition, according to the signed agreement, the persons to whom the law on the return of illegally acquired shares to the state applies will build two infrastructure facilities in the cities of Astana and Shymkent.

Kazakh state enterprise KazakhExport has denied information about selling military aircraft to Ukraine. According to RT, this company commented on the reports about the purchase of 117 decommissioned Soviet fighter jets by an individual in Kazakhstan for transfer to Ukraine, calling it untrue. KazakhExport noted that according to the existing contracts, all aircraft will be managed in the territory of the balance holders.
