YEREVAN. – The resolution adopted by the Louisiana State Senate is another step on the way to bringing the organizers and perpetrators of ethnic cleansing of Armenians in Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh, including organizers of Khojalu events, to justice, spokesperson for Armenian Foreign Ministry said.

“It is important to bring to justice those who are still not punished and live in Azerbaijan freely, perhaps planning a new crime,” Tigran Balayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As reported earlier, the Louisiana State Senate unanimously adopted a resolution,  condemning Azerbaijani pogroms against its Armenian citizens and called on the U.S. government to press Baku to bring the perpetrators to justice.
