YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday received the Howard Karagozian Memorial Foundation representatives, led by Foundation President Michael Haratunian.

First, the President congratulated on the 95th anniversary of this fund, and expressed gratitude for this organization’s patriotic activities in Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), and Armenian diaspora.

Haratunian, for his part, assured that they will continue working with the same enthusiasm and ambition, and increase their efforts, especially in Armenia and Artsakh.

Separately, Sargsyan awarded benefactor Michael Haratunian with a high state award: the 1st Degree Medal for Services to Homeland.

The President handed this high state award also to benefactor Kevork “George” Baghoumian.
