NATO official to visit Armenia

YEREVAN. - NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai will visit Armenia in February.

The NATO official will arrive on February 13 to meet with country’s leadership, a diplomatic source told Armenian News-NEWS.am. Prior to his trip to Armenia, Appathurai will visit Baku.

The sides will discuss preparation for the NATO summit in Chicago scheduled for May.

According to unofficial reports, President Serzh Sargsyan intends to attend the summit.
