Azerbaijani Speaker Ogtai Asadov put forward a proposal to address U.S. President Barack Obama at the December 15 Parliament sitting.

“Despite Congress decision to allocate assistance to Armenian community in Karabakh, document is not yet approved by the U.S. President. Thus, we should set up a commission and address Barack Obama as well as the U.S. Congress,” Asadov stated.

According to Asadov, if the appeal is endorsed, U.S. President might not approve the decision on rendering assistance to Karabakh. For this purpose, a commission of seven MPs was set up by Azerbaijani Speaker.
