The number of infected with swine flu (A/H1N1) in Armenia reached 86 as of December 15, Assistant to RA Health minister Shushan Hunanyan told NEWS.am.

Thus, six new cases were registered in the country only within recent 24 hours. No new death or grave cases are reported, Hunanyan said. All the infected receive in-patient treatment in country’s hospitals and in Nork infectious diseases hospital as well.

Hunanyan also informed that a sitting in RA Health Ministry was held today, in the course of which current issues as well as problems related to fast virus spread were discussed.

Meanwhile, RA chief infectiologist Ara Asoyan informed NEWS.am that there is no ground for panic. There is sufficient drug inventory in the country.

December 14, first two death cases were registered in Armenia.
