Seventy-four poisoning cases were registered in Armenia January 1 to December 18, 2009.
The press service of the RA Police told NEWS.am that 250 citizens we poisoned with food and gas, with 92 of them under age. Three persons died.
Last year, 188 people were poisoned, with 50 of them under age. One person died.
