Afghan President Hamid Karzai presented the new cabinet nominees for the parliament.
The Interior, Finance and Defense ministers remain unchanged in the new cabinet, BBC reports.
According to President’s decree, Ministers of Mines and Hajj were removed, whereas the post of foreign minister is vacant, as Karzai did not name his candidate.
According to Afghan Vice-President Mohammad Fahim, the nominees for new Cabinet were “ministers who were experts and did a good job,” Associated Press reports.
