Renowned Armenian jazzman Georgy Garanyan passed away in Krasnodar (Russia) where his band was on a tour. Being a composer and a conductor, he also played alt saxophone. Garanyan was a performer of Jam-5 program about jazz music on one of Russian TV channels. The musician said that jazz made 90% of his life. Garanyan headed several bands and composed music for 40 films.
