YEREVAN. – I visited Armenia for the first time about twenty years ago, and I have always liked your country, the United Kingdom Ambassador to Armenia, Jonathan James Aves, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“I was in Armenia for the first time in 1991, and I wanted to visit again every time. There is something special about ancient history, culture, and the contemporary life of the Armenian people. I really like being here,” the British diplomat noted.

In his words, even though Armenia is located on the other edge of Europe, it is a European country.

“We are a part of the shared cultural world,” Ambassador Jonathan James Aves concluded.
