YEREVAN. – The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will visit the region in late March, Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian stated Thursday, in capital city Yerevan, during his joint news conference with his Lithuanian counterpart, Linas Linkevičius.

“The Co-Chairs will visit Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh in the fourth week of March,” Nalbandian said. 

To note, during their last meeting with the FMs of Armenia and Azerbaijan, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs had expressed a concern in connection with civil aircrafts’ flights to Karabakh. This was mentioned in their statement that was issued on Monday.

“The Co-Chairs repeated their concerns regarding the issue of civilian flights to Nagorno-Karabakh and the recent violence on the Line of Contact. They also discussed ideas to strengthen the ceasefire.

The Co-Chairs will travel to the region in the coming weeks to discuss with the Presidents next steps aimed at reaching a peaceful resolution of the conflict,” the statement read.
