YEREVAN. – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius is hopeful that Armenia will have achieved tangible progress within the European integration process, during the European Partnership summit to be held in Vilnius in November. Linkevičius stated this Thursday, in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, during his joint news conference with Armenia’s FM, Edward Nalbandian.  

Stressing the European party’s wish to see this program develop in the region, the Lithuanian FM recalled that every country has its own agenda. 

As for Armenia, he expressed a hope that, during the days of the aforesaid summit, the talks would be over with respect to the Armenia-EU Association Agreement and the Armenia-EU Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area. 

“This will be a great step forward, and we wish Armenia success,” Linas Linkevičius said.
