YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian’s visit to Berlin got underway Wednesday with a meeting with the MPs of the political parties that are represented in the German Bundestag (Parliament).  

Expressing a delight with respect to the current political discourse between Armenia and Germany, Nalbandian underscored the cooperation between the parliaments of both countries, MFA press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

The parties exchanged views on regional matters and the avenues for their resolution. Nalbandian also presented details on the efforts by Armenia and the international community toward pacifically settling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Subsequently, Armenia’s FM met with Christoph Heusgen, the Foreign Policy and National Security Chief Advisor to the German Chancellor. The interlocutors discussed the ways for further strengthening Armenian-German relations, and the regional and international issues.

On Wednesday evening, Edward Nalbandian was hosted at the German Council on Foreign Relations, where he delivered a presentation on Armenia’s foreign policy and, subsequently, he responded to the questions posed by the audience.
