YEREVAN. – Zambia’s newly-appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Frederick Shumba Hapunda—whose diplomatic residence is in Moscow—on Thursday presented the copy of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

The Armenian FM wished the ambassador success in his accountable mission, MFA press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Nalbandian also expressed a hope that the two countries will develop their relations and Ambassador Hapunda will contribute to this endeavor. 

In his turn, the Zambian diplomat assured that he will make all possible efforts to deepen bilateral ties during his tenure.

The interlocutors discussed matters with respect to forming a legal and contractual framework and stimulating trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation between both countries, and cooperating within international organizations.

The parties also reflected on several regional and international matters of mutual interest.
